The place
A place with its own roots
Montseny needs no introduction. A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and one of Catalonia’s most biodiverse natural areas. One hour from Barcelona.
Nova Forest grew out of one belief: that all of this should be accessible without losing what makes it extraordinary. Not a luxury rural hotel, not a survival camp. A place where staying comfortably and being truly in the forest are not opposites.
The stone farmhouse was restored to be lived in. The pitches were designed around the river, not in spite of it. The garden exists because the food here tastes different.
Montseny was here before we arrived. It will be here when we are gone. We just make it easier to live with.

Our own garden, zero-kilometre cooking and direct relationships with producers in the region. What you eat at Nova Forest comes from here.
Less, but better
We have decided not to grow further. We would rather every stay be worth it.
